KENSHI'S FIRST HALF MARATHON (21km / 13 miles)

On Saturday November 3rd, 2018 Nicholas P of Orange County Shorinji Kempo Branch rose to the Long beach California sun and placed his best foot forward to embrace a “I am up for the challenge” positive attitude. Nicholas never stops surprising us. He is an accomplished black belt with strong academics who as now completed his first half marathon (21km / 13 miles) in 2hrs 49min & 1700 calories burned ! ! ! Here’s to thinking big and believing in yourself. Here is to sweating and sore muscles. Here’s to never giving up and leading by example for others to follow. Keep up the excellent work! Gassho!
